GAS
- A Gas Safety certification
is carried out annually.
- Gas is ONLY used for the
main boiler (central heating and domestic hot water).
- The isolation valve (lever
) is located above the door into the broom cupboard (opposite door from
corridor into kitchen).
ELECTRICITY
- Electrical Safety
certification is carried out every 5 years. Currently different circuits
are on different 5 yr cycles (due to installation history)
- Electrical circuits exist
throughout the building. Most are to 2008 standards (IEE regs)
- Most circuits are on RCDs
(except hardwired kitchen appliances)
- A schematic diagram shows
all circuits and outputs – all items are marked via a nomenclature that
ties items to the schematic. (Diagram for computer screen viewing)
- Most distribution boards
are located in the Utility Room (above the sink area). The main incomer
isolator is also located here.
- Other distribution boards
are located in the kitchen (kitchen side of kitchen/bar divider wall) and
the stage (side and loft).
- Portable Equipment (UVH
property) is PAT tested annually.
- A composite manual covers
instructions for all UVH kitchen appliances.
WATER
- There is no statutary
water circuit testing.
- Cold water mains stoptap –
feeding kitchen & boiler house-
is located in foyer above double door into hall.
- Ladies toilet water main
