Village Hall Forum
for presentatives
of the full User base


The Forum meets a few times each year and is open to any member of a Hall User Groups. A representative of each User Group is sent a notice with the agenda.

    The Forum has the following objectives -

  • communicate & discuss operational issues of running the hall

  • for Users to raise concerns/ideas to seek a forum consensus that can then go forward to the Hall Management Executive

  • for community building - meeting with representatives of other User Groups - over 'wine & cheese'

The last Forum was on Friday 31st.March in the Meeting Room with the following agenda -.

1. Bookings procedure for 2007/2008 and website information.
2. Revised scale of charges for Hall hire.
3. Village hall fund raising – possible activities and involvement.
4. Use of the new Hall entrance.
5. What next? Views from Forum members for future improvements.
6. Picture Gallery. Photographic displays of activities within the Hall.
7. Problems/complaints/immediate improvements - suggestions from the Forum to the Executive.
8. A tour of the new kitchen and bar area followed by complimentary cheese and wine.
9. Health and Safety issues in the new kitchen. A gathering for those considering providing catering - using the new kitchen for anything more than tea and coffee making.
