Management of the facility for
Upton-by-Chester Village Hall

The Upton Village Hall facility is managed by a Board of Trustees who are appointed and operate under the terms of a 'Governing document'.

Trustees are appointed to provide the appropriate mix of competencies and skills and with sufficient time and dedication to ensure a sustained efficient and quality management of the whole facility. They operate under the Vision statement as agreed by the Trustees June 2003.

The Officers on the Board are in frequent contact to discuss the day to day management of the facility and the full Board meets quarterly to decide on strategic direction, key issues that have arisen and for the outline planning of projects.

A number of Policies have been established and these are reviewed periodically.

The Board is accountable to an AGM and Annual accounts and report are submitted to the Charity Commission.

Users can raise issues with Trustees at any time and a 'Users Hall Forum' meets periodically.
