Upton Heath Flower Club celebrated it’s Golden Anniversary in May 2010.
Each month we have a flower arranging demonstration by a NAFAS (National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies) demonstrator who designs several different arrangements on the stage. This is then followed by a raffle of all the beautiful floral designs. Tea and biscuits will be served after this. We have a Sales Table, where members and visitors can buy flower arranging accessories, ie floral foam, etc, at very reasonable prices.
Our meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7.30 pm, except August (no meeting), and December, second Thursday in the month, starting at 7.30pm. All meetings are held in the Upton-by-Chester Village Hall. Membership costs just £22 per year.
The Club has a membership of around 100 and most monthly meetings attract around 60 members. If you would like to join our Society or come as a visitor you would be made very welcome. Visitors fee £4.00 which includes refreshments.
