celebration to mark official opening of the new Village Hall Kitchen & Bar

100 people sat down to a 3-course dinner with attractive place settings

Guests were Jean & David Evans (Jean is Chairman of Upton Parish Council) and David Robinson (Chair of Cheshire Advisory Panel to Wren (our main Grant Aider)
Guest of Honour was Frank Whaley who had attended the Hall Opening in Dec 1928 as a schoolboy

Food was prepared and cooked on the premises by Sophie Fearnall
During the meal - entertainment was provided by the Linton Ensemble. Guest Artist was Soprano Jean Fearnall-Williams who sang after the meal
Flower decorations were prepared by the Upton Flower Club.
The licenced bar offered a selection of drinks at our reasonable prices.
